My version of the best forms for a California notary to use |

There are many companies out there that will charge you for our forms we use as a notary and then put there name on it, and there are some free ones out there, but they are not really California specific. I don't like giving free advertisement so i don't want to pay anyone and then promote their business.
I have used several variations and after 8 years came up with what I believe to be the best forms to use that are easy to read and use for us and the customer. I hope they help everyone and if you work in my area and you do use them I ask that you help me and you and don't try and steal my business by being a "cheap" notary. A fair wage for a fair job, don't sell yourself short and don't think you are made of Gold. |
| These are updated to the newest laws of 2018 which includes the disclaimer required on any form that has acknowledgment or jurat verbiage on it. The only exception is on the certified copy of a power of attorney since you are actually certifying the validity of a document. |

I like all my documents to page spaced a certain way to make everything easy to read, so if you change the page size or re format make sure the words are still readable. |

| certified copy of power of attorney
I put everything on one sheet so you don't have to add a separate acknowledgment. I added who the power of attorney belongs to in the description since there is no set verbiage. Cert. | copy certification of document custodian This is for when someone needs proof that they have the original document and they need proof that what they are showing people is a COPY of the original, it is not a certified copy like for power of attorney, it is only stating they have the original in their possession and they are the document custodian. this goes to a web page to show what the form looks like.document custodian click here for the option to download it in word. document custodian word document |
